Let’s talk about the elephant in the print shop: not all logos are created equal.
We love enthusiasm. We love school pride. We love a coach who says, “We just sketched this on a napkin — can you put it on 150 hoodies by Friday?” What don’t we love? Knowing that napkin sketch turns into a blurry, fuzzy, pixelated mess on a $60 performance sweatshirt.
If you’re printing apparel, banners, yard signs, or anything that needs to look sharp from 2 feet and 200 feet away, your artwork matters more than you think.
Vector vs. Raster: The Quick & Friendly Lesson
There are two main types of artwork files:
- Raster files (JPG, PNG): Made of tiny pixels. When you enlarge them, they get blurry.
- Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG): Made of math-based paths. They scale infinitely without losing quality.
If your logo was pulled from a website, copied from Facebook or texted from a screenshot… it’s probably raster. And that’s why it looks great on your phone but rough on a 4-foot banner.
For printing — especially screen printing, embroidery, and large-format signage — vector is king.
Ok, So My Logo Isn’t Perfect?
You are not alone. In fact, most teams and small organizations don’t have fully production-ready artwork. That’s normal.
At Ox Graphix, we:
- Rebuild blurry logos into clean vector files
- Standardize fonts and spacing
- Simplify artwork for better printing
- Create brand-new logos when it’s time for a glow-up
Sometimes it’s a quick clean-up. Sometimes it’s a full transformation. Either way, we make sure your logo is ready for jerseys, hats, banners, yard signs — the whole sideline experience.
Your Brand Deserves to Look Like It Wins
You work hard. Your athletes work hard. Your school community shows up loud and proud. Your artwork has to match that energy.
At Ox Graphix, we don’t just print what you send us. We make sure it looks like a champion first. 🐂
